An FBI report detailing a civil disturbance outside Adams Men and Boys Shop on July 3, 1967, originating in an altercation over the refusal of the white store operator to allow a black man to use the restroom. A crowd soon gathered to throw debris at the store and at arriving law enforcement. After a series of physical altercations, including an appearance by SNCC members who rallied the crowd, the group was dispersed with numerous arrests of individuals between the ages of 16 and 42, all of whom were black.
