Memo Point VI — Potential After Riots

A hand edited memo from Daniel Pearlman evaluating the risk of more unrest in the Dixie Hills area. In his assessment, the lack of significant city response, and the white community’s belief that either a.) the unrest was insignificant or b.) it was the work of outside SNCC agitators rather than genuine protest, meant that the risk of a repeat incident was increasing.
