An annotated memo to Isaac Hunt, Atlanta Field Team Leader, from Everett Waldo and Daniel Pearlman, regarding an interview on October 20, 1967 with President of the Chamber of Commerce and Trust Company of Georgia Mr. Stern. Stern discussed several actions the Chamber had taken to improve relations between black and white residents. Pearlman and Waldo felt that Stern was unconcerned about the problems facing the black community, and that the chamber was primary interested in its own public image.
